Madison House Tour
Howdy,
So, after 3 weeks, the house is more or less defined. The rooms have been populated with the items that belong in them. Now that doesn’t mean they are neat and tidy. Definitely not. Most drawers, closets, and shelves are just jammed with whatever can be hidden. Each room needs to be organized now. But, I am making progress.
Here is a picture of the front of the house. Notice there is plenty of room in the garage for the truck and trike and lots more. I am hoping to do some organizing in there today.
From inside the front door, you have the Living Room (reading room) to the left, and the Family Room/Office/Dining Room to the right.
This is the Living Room (Reading Room) from the stairs leading the the 2nd floor.
The Family Room is really the TV Room and is quite comfy too.
With the extra room between the couch and the dining room buffet / bookcases, I carved out a little office area. Just over 5 foot wide and plenty deep.
The Dining Room is plenty big enough and starts a black/white theme.
The Kitchen has all new Black Stainless Steel appliances — I didn’t show the Laundry room around the corner with new Washer, Dryer and Water Heater — the new HVAC will be in there too within the next couple of weeks.
On to the upstairs we go.
The “computer room” is at the right at the top of the stairs. Right now it is a mess of shelves, and containers. Someday it will be organized again.
To the left of the stairs (back side of house) is the room I am calling the Photography Room — all of my camera gear and props are in there.
Next is the 2nd bath and Guest Bedroom. There is also a half bath on the first floor, off of the office area, but who wants to see a commode and a sink?
That leaves the Master Suite. The bedroom is a decent size, but the bathroom is the same size as the 2nd bath. No separate shower, and barely room for the single sink.
That’s about it for the upstairs. Decent closet space (no walk-ins) for each room. So back down the stairs we go.
Lastly, here is a quick view from the back of the property towards the deck, and then from over the deck back to the outbuilding.
So, there’s the 10 cent tour. If you liked it, please use my Amazon Affiliate link when you buy from Amazon. https://amzn.to/2HsHkpN It doesn’t cost you anything, but, they give me tiny kickbacks on the purchases. I just may get the whole 10 cents.. Thanks, and
