Day -37 -- Angie says I'm a healthy fat old-man

So, I had my AngioScreen testing today. Just thought I’d share the results for those curious.

First, I was a bit petrified by the potential experience, so to say I was nervous, would be a massive understatement. Only took 10-15 minutes, plus filling out paperwork and getting results. The Tenet Florida Physician Services people were extremely nice and tried to be calming. They only jittery person there was me.

First test was a gizmo to do an ECG like my Apple Watch — except it was a 2 thumb toy that Blue Toothed to a phone app. Result — same as I see 50% of the time on my watch — “normal” Sinus Rhythm. Did NOT miss a beat during that test.

My Blood Pressure was very high for me -- Even higher than a "normal person" -- seeing how nervous I was I am not surprised by that -- Pulse was also a touch high at 73 but that is within human "normal".. Today, my watch says resting rate is 58 — I frequently see numbers during the day, in low 60s, so once again I think my anxiousness had something to do with the result.

My BMI is still firmly entrenched in the 40s -- duh, what would you expect at my weight?? — BTW, it is dropping 1/2 pound to 1 pound a week — much slower than I want, but at least it isn’t rising.

ABI Left leg 1.18 ABI right leg 1.18 == same and well in normal. “Normal” is 0.91-1.30, below the .91 means some blockage, and very bad is below .40.

Aorta at 1.59 cm, which is well within the normal under 3.0 cm..

Left Carotid Artery PSV of 66 Right at 70 -- both well within the normal of 1-124

The pictures show the Right side has a (one) tiny (and I do mean tiny) bump of plaque-- May be meaningful in 50 years....

Bottom line -- The blood moving system is as healthy as an obese old-man can be.. I took the morgue off of speed dial.

See, this is what a good life of smoking, drinking, drugs, and diseases, can do for you…

Enjoy life.
