Day +4 -- Habits are hard to break!

I typed the “Day - “ portion of that title without thinking. Maybe the next one will be without the “Day”. But it gave me a title for the day. Habits are what keep me going. And they are also quite annoying right now. For example, I keep wanting to check emails at the Office. And, look at schedules. And, when 10 am or 2 pm roll around, I’m wanting to check on the progress of batch jobs. Not to mention that every time the iPhone makes a buzz, I am sure it is a page for an issue.

I hope all of those “habits” will disappear quickly. Along with being solidly awake at 4 am.. One think I have noticed though, I seem to be willing to get an hour or two of sleep from 4-7 each day. That’s a nice habit, I want to continue.

Oh, forgot the real reason I was blogging today. Happy Christmas Eve to all. I was at a store today, and everybody is dressed in Christmas attire, and while in checkout, I asked the clerk what day is today. When they looked back at me like I was quite odd, I said, “No, not the day of month, I know that. What day of week is it?”. I can see this becoming an issue quickly. All days of the week are going to pretty much merge. I going to have to figure out a way to handle this.

Yesterday/today I packed up all of the paintings/photos/etc. that was on the walls. Also used a bit of plaster stuff to fill any holes. https://amzn.to/39c9JvN (3M 4 IN 1 Patch Plus Primer) does a great job for the quick fix on white walls.

I wrapped all the pictures in bubble wrap and packed them in moving boxes specially made for them. Even marked them this side up, so the movers will be sure to ignore the orientation.

All moved to the storage unit now. Will be working on the knick-knacks next. Needed more bubble wrap. Just arrived from Amazon. They are doing a lot of 1 day deliveries now. I’ll put these in bins for better protection.

But not today, nor tomorrow. Need a little “holiday” from the work. I’m am still sore and aching everywhere. I do believe the “anti-stress” of no longer working allowed me to catch a little cold bug.

Figures.. Anyway, to all of you that do read these blogs, thank you. and Merry Christmas.

And to all of you that don’t read these blogs, just Merry Christmas…

And to all, Enjoy Life, and Good Night.
