01-28-2025 -- I knitted a fox or two
Howdy all. So very little snow fell overnight again. Just a dusting. Salt on driveway/walk got rid of most. But, the winds!!! Gusts to 47-48 mph last night. At the moment (10:30 am) they are reasonable. However, porncast is for 41-42 mph gusts overnight again. Ugh. I hate hearing the roar off the lake and the banging of unknown items around the yard/neighborhood. My Post Tropical Storm Disorder (PTSD) makes me want to crawl under my bed and hide. I have multiple white noise/gray noise generators going all night, and still can’t pretend to sleep.
This morning, I took the opportunity of the wind lightening and the no snowfall, and temperatures over 20, to go change the batteries on a couple of my Blink security cameras. Added their new battery extension packs. Big deal, not. By doubling the size of the box, they added 2 more AA batteries. At least they should have juice for a little longer.
Yesterday, after a couple false starts, I managed to 3D print some knitted foxes. Did the one big brown gal on one printer, while printing four of the little white one, on the other printer. The tree support structures were a major pain to remove, especially underneath where the legs and paws are bent for them to sit.
I think they are totally cute.
Today I am trying a different critter. Using green filament. Hopefully it will come out well.
A knitted croc that rocks.
And a Blue Dolphin Another pain in the tail fins to remove the support structure. I’ve got to learn a better way to use supports so I can remove them easier.
For now, that’s all folks. Enjoy Life
