Day -6 -- Finally Shot for the last time (this year!!)
Good Morning All,
Just got back from my neighborhood Publix. Picked up a smaller than normal grocery list. Seems I won’t be needing some of the supplies I usually get for at-work meals, with my last being Friday, and it ending at 10 am. I’m not sure how I will transition meal-times to being home for breakfast/lunch seven days a week.
Anyhow, while I was there, I stopped at their pharmacy, for what should be the last time ever too. Wow, lots of last times happening lately. This time I got my final vaccine that is recommended for we old farts. The 2nd pneumonia booster. Another FREE visit. Well, free for me. I’m sure they are charging the insurance company lots of money behind the scene. But I don’t care about that… As long as I don’t have to pay, and I only need to check a bunch of little boxes on a form saying I am not dead, dying, allergic to anything, or pregnant (can’t quite figure out how to respond to the question, “If you are a woman, are you pregnant?, Yes, or No” . I am supposed to respond “No”, but that seems wrong. If they would word it, “Are you a pregnant woman?”, that would be more logical.
Whatever. I now have all of my shots. If I ever get paper-trained, I’m ready to be adopted.
— update — UGH, That vaccine is leaving its mark. It feels like someone whacked my shoulder with a 2x4. The good news is that’s the last vaccine!!!! Until Flu Season 2020.
That’s about it for now.
Enjoy.
