Back to the Office -- day -221

And the “transition” continues.

But it seems just like a normal work day. Just like I have for the last 11 years at this corporate office, I pulled into the first parking space near the South Entrance — In the rainy season I prefer the first one in the garage — otherwise first one outside.

Quite empty in the morning.

Quite empty in the morning.

From there to the entrance, where I now have to swipe my employee card 3 different places on the way in. The sliding doors, the gate inside, and then the elevator.

True Security?

True Security?

Now I am off to my broom closet to start the day. Most of the time I have to trigger the lights in each sector, as I go by. And I reach my door.

I know it’s my door, because it is labeled “ME”.

The inside of the broom closet is quite cluttered. Meant to hold a broom, but set up to hold two humanoids.

My “home” away from home.

My “home” away from home.

First thing to do is make breakfast — I have a great little “RoadPro” lunch box that cooks it for me. Since I’ve been doing low-carb this year, it always gets filled with eggs, mushrooms, spinach, sausage and cheese. A yummy breakfast, that also fills into the mid-morning snack.

Yummy for the Tummy.

And make my herbal tea, and then go fill up my ice-water thermos. I am set for the morning.

Tea for me.

Tea for me.

I will be repeating this another 150 times before I leave. I may pull that RoadPro out of here to take on my new home search. I sure hope it works well in the truck.

Well, time to get the day started.

Enjoy life.
