01-19-2025 -- Brrr. That's it. Brrr.

Howdy all. This morning it is a blazing 25 freedom degrees outside. And that’s going to be the highest it gets for the next 3-4 days. Monday through Wednesday will see highs from around 10 to 17. And lows going to as low as MINUS 5. Brrr.

I was out this morning salting the walk and driveway after yesterday’s rain/snow/slush. Hopefully it will be safe to walk on as the snow falls today.

This is now. Pretty much dry at the moment.

That’s about all I can do to prepare. I will, like many others, leave the faucet dripping here and there, in a sad attempt to prevent pipes from freezing. Especially the kitchen faucet where the pipes are on an exterior wall that always is chilly.

I am still doing other things, than just shoveling snow!! I have printed off and created a few more 3D items. The picture below is of a “Dummy 13” build. It comes off the printer bed as a jumble of little pieces (like 50?) that have to be assembled to create this articulating dummy.

I have him sitting up on the top of my monitor holding onto a “peering” kitty a friend sent me a couple years ago.

Assembling the dummy is a real pain in the fingers. Each joint fits quite snugly and takes a lot of pressure to connect.

5 PM update — salt couldn’t keep up. Snow covered and slippery. And still falling.

Anyway, I am doing what I can to Enjoy Life.
