Stained Deck

Well, got that project done. Pretty much ran out of stain though. I used the last of what I had. Not sure if the other will ever get delivered. Seem to be having delivery problems with both UPS and USPS lately. Stuff is just getting close, and then disappearing without being delivered.

I did stain the deck boxes over the last two days also. A couple of coats and they look pretty darn good. Should be ready to handle wet and snow — I hope.

This is a pic with the box on left not stained, and one on right with one coat. Had to stop because flying buggies wanted to stick to the new stain.. Finished next morning.

So, how does the deck look now, you ask? — Here is a few pictures.

From the sliding door of the house looking out. My two reclining chairs, on fake grass, then the fire pit, then one deck box, and flowers and berry plants.

Looking the other direction, the other deck box, more flowers and berry plants, and of course, my butterfly. Looking outward, you can see the fire pit in the middle of the yard, and the outbuilding. Notice there seems to be a lot more grass than previously — I have put a lot of work into trying to make it green.

Looking back towards the house, and you can see the “work” deck box by the door, and that I have another butterfly (to remind me I can’t concentrate!!) and a clock (to remind me I should try!!).

And a final angle, just to show the outside of the deck is also stained, and so are the steps.

Don’t it all look perty???
